Rechargeable laser pointers built for daily use
The Starlight Lasers Pro series is our answer to people who use a laser pointer often: teachers, guides, astronomy hobbyists, farmers and allotment holders. Every Pro model has an aluminium body, a rechargeable lithium-ion cell and a charger in the box, so you are never hunting for fresh batteries before a talk or an evening out.
The full-size models – G3 Pro, G1 Pro, R1 Pro and V1 Pro – take an 18650 cell and come with two safety keys, so you can lock the laser when it is in a drawer or a bag. The compact models – G2 Pro, R2 Pro and V2 Pro – use the smaller 16340 cell and are 11–12 cm long. Pro does not mean more power: every Pro laser has an output up to 1 mW, laser class 2, exactly like our pens. What you pay for is the build, the rechargeable battery and, on the full-size models, the key lock.

18650 or 16340?
The 18650 cell is the larger of the two and sits in the full-size models; the 16340 is shorter and keeps the compact models pocket-sized. Both are rechargeable lithium-ion batteries; you take the battery out and charge it in the PowerFox charger supplied, one battery at a time. With normal use a charge lasts at least about a month. Most customers choose the G3 Pro: green, rechargeable and lockable. Want three colours? The Pro set bundles G1 Pro, R1 Pro and V1 Pro. Frequently asked questions
Is a Pro laser pointer more powerful?
No. Every Pro model is class 2 with an output up to 1 mW, the same as our laser pens. Pro means an aluminium body, a rechargeable battery with charger and, on the full-size models, two safety keys.
Is the charger included?
Yes. Every Pro laser comes with 1 rechargeable battery and a PowerFox charger, which charges the battery outside the laser, one at a time. Extra batteries can be added when you order.
Which Pro models have safety keys?
The full-size G1 Pro, G3 Pro, R1 Pro and V1 Pro each come with two safety keys. The compact G2 Pro, R2 Pro and V2 Pro do not have a key lock.
