V2 Pro: compact violet laser pointer

The V2 Pro is the smallest way to own a rechargeable violet laser. At 11.2 centimetres it fits a coin pocket or a small pouch, yet it has the same aluminium build and rechargeable lithium-ion power as the larger Pro models. The 405 nm dot is a vivid blue-purple and makes many fluorescent and glow-in-the-dark materials light up.

It is a Starlight Lasers model with an output up to 1 mW, laser class 2 – the class intended for sale to the public in the UK. Every V2 Pro is measured before dispatch.

Who is it for?

• Anyone who enjoys glow effects on fluorescent materials.

For long distances, astronomy or bird control, violet is not the right colour: choose green, for example the compact G2 Pro.

Battery

Charge the 16340 battery in the supplied PowerFox charger before first use; the battery comes out of the laser to charge. With normal use a charge lasts at least about a month. An extra PowerFox 16340 2-pack can be added to your order, and a second PowerFox charger handles 16340 batteries too.

V2 Pro, V1 Pro or Z1?

Safety

The V2 Pro has no key lock, so keep it where children cannot reach it. Never aim the laser at eyes, people, animals' eyes, vehicles or aircraft, and be careful with mirrors, glass and water that can reflect the beam. Keep it out of reach of children – it is a tool, not a toy, and you must be 18 or over to order. Shining a laser at a vehicle or aircraft is a criminal offence in the UK.
