Compact rechargeable green laser pointer, only 12 cm long
Not everyone wants to carry a 15 cm laser. The G2 Pro squeezes the green Pro experience into 12 centimetres: an aluminium body, a rechargeable 16340 lithium-ion cell and a bright 532 nm green dot. It slides into a jeans pocket, a camera bag or a jacket without you noticing, which means it is with you when you actually need it.
The G2 Pro is a Starlight Lasers model with an output up to 1 mW, laser class 2 – the class intended for sale to the public in the UK. Every unit is measured before dispatch, and the charger is in the box.

The G2 Pro takes a 16340 cell: shorter than the 18650 used in the full-size models, which is what keeps the laser so compact. Charge it in the supplied PowerFox charger before first use (the battery comes out of the laser to charge). With normal use a charge lasts at least about a month. If you use the G2 Pro a lot, an extra PowerFox 16340 2-pack means you can swap and carry on; a second PowerFox charger handles 16340 batteries too.
Choose the G2 Pro for portability. Choose the G3 Pro if you want the larger 18650 cell and a key lock, for example in a home with children or for shared use at work. All green models are on green laser pointers.
The G2 Pro has no key lock, so store it where children cannot reach it. Never aim at eyes, people, animals' eyes, vehicles or aircraft, and be careful with reflective surfaces. Shining a laser at a vehicle or aircraft is a criminal offence in the UK. See laser pointer safety.
